5 Most-Wanted Phones of 2021

Smartphone users are expecting the upcoming models to be equipped with top-grade features. While some are looking forward to big releases by Apple and Samsung, others are curious to know what classic brands like Sony will bring. A much-awaited blast from the past comes with the return of the flip phone, improvised to suit the ultra-modern user, but there’s a lot more. Here’s a list of the top smartphones to check out in 2021.

1. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3
The new Samsung Z Fold model is likely to be the flagship handset for the company’s next range of folding phones. It’s intended to build on the success of the Z Fold 2. And the inclusion of the S Pen is expected to make the phone pretty convenient for note-taking. Samsung is also rumored to affix an under-display camera to the model, which means the viewing experience will be amazing. With such specs, the Z Fold will definitely make it to the list of the top smartphones in 2021.

2. iPhone 13 series
iPhone user or not, everyone awaits the release of Apple’s next handset, and this year is no different. The iPhone 13 series is scheduled to be launched later this year. While the new smartphones are rumored to have a new under-display fingerprint scanner, the sizes are likely to be the same as the iPhone 12 models. There are expectations of an upgraded camera, with one of the proposed features being improved low-light performance. There could also be a periscope mode to ramp up the experience.

3. Sony Xperia (1 III and 5 III)
In April, Sony unveiled its two flagship phones. They have the same rectangular design as Sony’s signature phones, which is a distinguishing factor for the brand. The camera system has an incredible telephoto lens with a moving part inside to switch between 70 mm and 105 mm (relative) focal lengths. Additionally, complementing the Xperias are 120 Hz screens with high-quality Bravia HDR.

4. OnePlus 9T
Another top smartphone to check out in 2021 is the OnePlus 9T. The brand is known for launching a spruced-up version of its flagship smartphone between September and November, so the OnePlus 9T is likely to be launched in the second half of 2021. And looking at previous releases, we can assume that the 9T will be fitted with the Plus variant of that year’s Snapdragon flagship processor, which will be the power-packed Snapdragon 888 Plus in this case.

5. Google Pixel 5a 5G
Google Pixel phones are known for their minimalistic design and economical prices, and the Pixel 5a will be on the same lines. It may very well pick up features from the Pixel 4a and will, of course, support 5G. Earlier this year, a couple of leaked designs of the Pixel 5a stirred up curiosity, and Google confirmed the upcoming release soon after. And we were certain that this would be one of the top smartphones to watch out for in 2021!
